The hardest part about making a video is “What in the heck do you say in the very beginning of the video?” How do you start? Because let’s face it, the first five to ten seconds of your video you can either take a viewer from “Oh I really like this person, I want to learn more from them” to “I’m not really feeling it let’s go see what so-and-so has to say.”
Hi I’m Amie and I’m going to tell you today exactly how to start out each of your videos if you’re an elder law or an estate planning attorney. This is the key and how to start every single one of your videos. We’ve taken the guesswork out of it for you.
Let’s just jump right on in. There’s a lot of pressure when it comes to saying the right thing and you don’t want to lose your viewers. The best thing you do right out of the gate, first thing to come out of your mouth in your video is a question.
This is an example from our coaching program and this is what we’re telling our clients. “Will my mom you lose her IRA because of my dad’s nursing home costs?” Now you know that’s a question that people ask. And that’s how you start. Very easy, very simple.
What’s nice is that people are asking you questions all the time! You can use any one of those questions into a video. So in every single one of your videos, start with a question that you know is keeping people up at night.
Now if you want to know the rest of the steps to creating a successful video — because this is important, you don’t want to wing it — there’s a tried and proven way to capture their attention, grow your followers, and grow your subscribers on YouTube.
