Our Mission

Since 2016, Bambiz has worked exclusively with Elder Law and Estate Planning attorneys to help them get more clients and grow their practices.

Bambiz is headquartered in Central Florida and works with attorneys from coast to coast in nearly every state.

Jim Blake

Founder

Jim discovered his love for business at age 9 when he and his friend repaired a flapper chain on their toilet. Realizing they were on to something, the boys printed and distributed flyers for J&J Plumbing. Unfortunately, Jim’s dad shut down the “plumbing business,” but Jim’s entrepreneurial spirit lived on.

Jim graduated from Illinois State University and spent over 10 years in sales with Bridgestone.

He met many Elder Law and Estate Planning attorneys while attending the legal conferences his wife was planning. Knowing he could help these attorneys grow their practices, he created Bambiz in 2016. It gives Jim great satisfaction to help law firms across the country.

Jim has completed 28 marathons on three continents. He enjoys traveling, local coffee shops, business books, and spending time with his wife and young daughter.

Andrea Blake

Head of Operations

Upon setting foot in the Paris Las Vegas hotel during a family vacation, Andrea decided her life goal was to be in the hospitality business. She earned a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. She is also a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) by the Events Industry Council.

Andrea began working with Elder Law attorneys during her time as the Education Events Manager at ElderCounsel. It was satisfying to watch attorneys learn, grow, and improve their practices because of the education that she created.

She then became the Events Director for the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, the nation’s largest Estate Planning conference. During her time at Heckerling, Andrea and her husband learned that they would soon be welcoming a daughter into their lives.

Andrea retired her event planning cap and now works alongside her husband Jim at Bambiz. When she isn’t chasing after her toddler, Andrea enjoys traveling, visiting Disney, and relaxing on her beautiful Florida hometown beach.

Erin Teeters

Account Coordinator

Erin has always been known for her sense of style, which used to mean butterfly clips and glittery rubber bracelets stacked up both arms. Her style evolved (thankfully) and landed her in the fashion merchandising program at Florida State University.

Erin worked with high-end designers and perfected her inventory management, data analytics, and leadership skills. Once her son came along, Erin’s retail career and crazy hours didn’t seem as appealing.

She came to Bambiz and jumped right in creating comprehensive marketing campaigns. She also trains law firms on best practices for hosting successful workshops. The knowledge that families are putting plans in place to leave a legacy for future generations brings her great satisfaction. 

Erin is on the Board of Directors for Women United, a local organization that raises funds for women and children. She enjoys spending time outdoors and at the beach with her husband and sons.

Amie Hurst

Marketing Coordinator

To Amie, there is no such thing as a stranger. By the time she was in 5th grade, she had penpals all over the world. She learned very early on that the key to success is through relationships.

Amie planted herself in people-focused work from volunteering at nursing homes to being a receptionist for various companies. She further refined her customer service skills when working for the #1 ranked Hilton Hotel in the nation.

At Bambiz, Amie gets to flex her muscles in relationship building. She has a remarkable ability to get someone to open up after only knowing them for a short period of time. She also has a creative bug and designs our social media content, client newsletters, and records videos for attorneys with practice-growth tips.

While Amie isn’t working, you can find her enjoying life in the great outdoors with her husband and two slightly rambunctious kids. 

Kelly Uhler

Account Executive

Kelly was drawn to the elderly from a young age. She spent childhood summers with her grandmother and great-grandmother, where they’d have “Coffee Club”.

After trying different industries, her professional and personal passions finally collided when she became a senior care advisor. It seemed appropriate that she’d end up with a passion for helping those who reminded her of the ladies she spent her childhood summers with.

At Bambiz, Kelly works with Elder Law attorneys to understand how she can assist them in growing their practice. Her end goal is that the attorney can help as many families as possible. She loves knowing that she has made a difference in the lives of others.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, writing, reading, doing crafts, gardening, and cooking.

Dan Hafner

Account Executive

Dan has always been a rebel without a cause. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, then moved into the IT world and obtained his Master’s in Cybersecurity.

After marrying his college sweetheart, Dan began the life of following her around for her medical schooling and career. He discovered the “corporate” 9-5 wasn’t for him and set out to find something that would give him a sense of accomplishment. On that journey, he painstakingly taught himself how to code and created his own app called RunWage (check it out!).

Wanting to use his tech skills to help other professionals grow their businesses, Dan was a natural fit for Bambiz. His focus is establishing new client relationships and innovating the selling process. He loves the process of onboarding, matching solutions to the attorney’s needs, and ensuring practice success.

Dan enjoys hanging out with his wife and three dogs, hiking, podcasting, and reading. He also tinkers with his running app and hosts his own daily inspirational podcast.

Melissa Hobbs

Creative Writer

Two decades ago, Melissa was running up and down the halls of a level one trauma center as a pediatric respiratory therapist. She would have never guessed that 20 years later, she would still be taking care of people in a very different capacity.

After Melissa had her son, she took a position as a paralegal in a busy law office where she learned the ins and outs of different types of law, including Elder Care and Estate Planning. Her time in the ER gave her first-hand experience seeing how fragile life can be and the importance of preparing for the unexpected.

Melissa found that her experience in the legal and medical fields created a perfect mix for writing attorney content, which led her to Bambiz. Her goal is to create pieces that inspire action and allow attorneys to connect with their ideal clients.

When not in her office typing away and sneaking in a few cuddles with her furry (doggie) co-workers, you can find Melissa outside with her sons and husband.
